Physics Grading Policy
Here is how you will earn your grade.
Notebook 33.3%
Everything you do in and outside of class goes in your notebook. You will be instructed during class on what goes into your notebook and how it needs to be structured.
Here is the short version:
Title and number every page
Keep a Table of Contents at the front of the notebook that has the page number and the title for every page.
Quizzes 33.3%
Quizzes are every friday except on test Fridays. . All quizzes are open notebook (not open book). This is why you want a good and useful notebook. The problems you do on the quizzes will be just like problems we did throughout the week. Quizzes will also contain questions from previous weeks quizzes and homework questions. So have all of this in there and you will do great.
Tests 33.4%
Tests are closed notes and closed book. They will happen on the last friday of the month or the last friday before vacation if the last friday is during vacation. Tests are mostly made up of quiz questions with a few questions from that week’s lessons added in.
